When PM reached TIA for sudden inspection
6:43 AMPrime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday went on a sudden inspection of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). The prime minister inspected the under-construction and operational infrastructures of the country’s only international airport.“We were not informed about his visit,” TIA Acting Managing Director, Bhola Prasad Guragain told Republica Online, “He minutely observed infrastructures including restrooms at the airport.”The prime minister was accompanied by Minister for Finance Bishnu Poudel, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ananda Pokharel, State minister for Tourism Bal Bahadur Mahat and his aides.According to Guragain, PM Oli remarked that the infrastructures are not in bad conditions as being reported and directed the employees to install advanced technology.
